Driven by experience... backed by integrity. Harrison Western has forged its reputation for performance in the fields of heavy engineering, construction, mining and process development. As a full-service contractor, Harrison Western has successfully completed complex projects for many of the most respected companies around the world and numerous government agencies.
Harrison Western was founded in 1968, based on the concept of providing a superior level of mining industry construction services. Our initial efforts concentrated on the design and construction of various mining projects. In 1970 we saw an opportunity to bring our mining construction experience to the civil construction industry. Since that time, Harrison Western has successfully completed underground construction projects ranging from setting North American shaft-sinking records through major aquifers, to being one of the first contractors to introduce earth pressure balance technology to the United States tunneling industry.
In 1988 Harrison Western expanded its operations to include process water treatment systems. This new area grew out of our construction and engineering expertise over the previous years. Our close association with the mining industry has allowed us to see the need for cost-effective treatment of process water from mining operations. We have developed proprietary technology to assist the industry in coping with increasing regulatory demands in the area of water treatment.
Harrison Western employs a seasoned management team, known for its exemplary service, industry expertise, and concern for quality. Their involvement with manufacturers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies has ensured that all project objectives have been met on-time and on-budget while adhering to strict quality control standards. In this era of rapid change, Harrison Western stands firm as an industry leader.
