• Tunnel Construction For Highways, Railroads, Water Supply and Hydroelectric Projects
  HWCC has completed the civil engineering construction of many tunnels for the infrastructure of the United States and other countries. These projects include major works for hydro electric projects, railroad, water supply and highways.
  
   
• Tunnel Repair
  After years of use many tunnels especially those that carry water require that they be cleared of accumulated debris and that the roof support be replaced. These projects require personnel experienced in such work to complete it safely and within budget. HWCC has such personnel.
  
   
• Shaft Construction
  In terms of civil engineering construction, HWCC has constructed many shafts for the civil construction business in the course of constructing hydroelectric and other types of projects. We are able to use our experience in sinking through difficult ground with the installation of various types of lining including piling, liner plate timber rings, shotcrete and concrete.
  
   
• Underground Roof Support
  Excavation and support of large openings is well within the scope of HWCC. Along with roof bolts, steel sets and shotcrete HWCC is capable of constructing complicated underground concrete structures.
  
   
• Repair of Concrete Structures
  HWCC has the capacity to repair, modify and construct concrete structures whether on surface or underground.
  
   
• Rock Scaling and Excavation Support
  HWCC has the personnel required to complete the scaling of unstable rock and to install any rock support that may be required. HWCC can install a number of excavation and rock support hardware to suit the conditions. Rock anchors, rock bolts, cable bolts etc are within the scope of HWCC.
